How to use it
- Choose the options for your Cornell notes page. The preview updates as you go.
- Click Download PDF to save a print-ready file, or Print to send it straight to your printer.
- In the print dialog, set scaling to 100% ("Actual size") so the spacing stays exact.
Good to know
- Take notes in the right-hand column during class; keep sentences short.
- Right after class, write questions or keywords in the left cue column.
- Summarize the page in 2–3 sentences at the bottom. Later, cover the notes and quiz yourself from the cues.

What is the Cornell note-taking method?
A system developed at Cornell University by Walter Pauk. Each page has a cue column, a notes column and a summary area, which makes reviewing and self-testing easier.
How wide is the cue column?
About 2.5 inches on a Letter page, with a summary area about 2 inches tall at the bottom.
